What does JLR VCI do:

The JLR VCI connects directly to the vehicle via OBD-II diagnostic connector and connects to laptop with SDD software via a USB cable.

Once the J2534 DLL files are loaded, this product will allow normal operation with JLR SDD Diagnostic Tool. All communication is possible on with this device.

 

JLR VCI Operate in J2534 Mode Guide:

The JLR VCI is simple and easy to use. 

Drivers are available to install with JLR SDD DVD V142. 

Connect the J2534 device to the vehicle OBD-II connector (the device powers from the vehicle battery). 

Connect JLR VCI to SDD Laptop via the 2 meter USB cable.

The (PWR) LED will be in stable red color to indicate that JLR VCI is powered. 

During communication with the vehicle the Status (STS) LED will flash in green color.
